⭐ “I’ve learned that life has a quirky sense of humour… and it keeps handing me chapters I never auditioned for.”
I’ve spent my life following stories — sometimes intentionally, sometimes by stumbling into them. I’ve been a community builder, a storyteller, a hopeful observer, and, quite unexpectedly, a farmer. Life has a way of surprising us, and my path has rarely run in a straight line.
I’ve lived in cities and in the deep quiet of the countryside. I’ve worked with communities to spark change, championed reasons for hope, and collected courage in unlikely places. Along the way, I discovered that the stories we think we’re living often turn out to be the ones that are living us.
The Reluctant Farmer grew out of one of those surprising chapters. What began as an unexpected move to a remote ranch became a lesson in resilience, humour, heartbreak, and the slow, steady practice of finding home.
These days, I write from a place of curiosity and gratitude — for the people I’ve met, the challenges that shaped me, and the joys that arrived unannounced. My work continues to explore connection, aging as adventure, and the unexpected ways we grow into ourselves.
Thank you for being here. I hope something in these pages speaks to you.
